Baha two-stage procedures
(-51) Multiple procedures
(-52) Reduced services
Modifier -52 (reduced services) should be used to identify reduced services when the intended procedure is
partially reduced or not performed.
(-58) Coding staged procedures
If the surgical procedure is staged, with one surgery performed to insert the titanium fixture and another
surgery to implant the abutment, the surgical procedure code must be modified with the -58 modifier to
indicate the two stages. Both surgical procedures should amend the appropriate CPT code with this modifier.

NOTE: This code may be used to describe components of Auditory Osseointegrated Implant System provided separately from L8690 [i.e, BAHA softband]
L9900 Orthotic/prosthetic supply, accessory and/or service component of another HCPCS L code
NOTE: can be used to bill the abutment if the patient undergoes an abutment revision.
L7500 Repair of prosthetic device, hourly rate
L7510 Repair of prosthetic device, repair or replace minor parts
L7520 Repair of prosthetic device, labor component, per 15 minutes
POST OPERATIVE
