Dear Colleague,

Dear Colleague,

Announcing Extended Hours for Cochlear™ Customer Service!
In a continuing effort to enhance our customer's experience, Cochlear's customer service is now open from 6am to 6pm Mountain Time for both recipients and clinics!

New Contour Advance™ Depth Gauge
Cochlear™ is excited to introduce the new Contour Advance Depth Gauge specifically designed to:

  • Assist surgeons when determining which implant electrode array to use for cases of re-implantation or ossification of the cochlea
  • Measure the number of active electrode contacts that can be inserted into the cochlea
  • Measure insertion depth through the first cochleostomy

A discussion with Cochlear's Surgical Support team is highly recommended before using the Contour Advance Depth Gauge.

The Zoom Challenge is Up and Running!
Participants have signed-up to take the challenge from all over the U.S. and Canada. But, we're still looking for more! Talk to your Nucleus 5 patients today about taking the challenge! Here is a picture of the great T-shirts that participants will receive for completing the challenge (choice of one).

What is the zoom challenge?
The Cochlear Nucleus 5 Sound Processor features dual microphones that work together to produce a super-directional zoom microphone setting. This ground-breaking feature is designed to make it easier than ever to hear in noisy listening situations.

The zoom challenge is an opportunity for recipients to see how zoom may improve their hearing while in noisy situations, and participate in a research survey. Those participants who complete the challenge and share their feedback will receive a limited edition zoom challenge T-shirt.
