How to Read a Child's MAP, or the “Ts” and “Cs” of CI
This course is designed to provide school personnel with a basic understanding of the measurements that are obtained when programming a child's cochlear implant (CI). It also provides participants with guideline to help determine when a child should return to the center for reprogramming.

Course Objectives:
- Participants will be able to identify the basic parameters of a child’s MAP.
- Participants will be able to identify the changes in auditory behavior when children are suspected of needing reprogramming.
- Participants will be able to list basic troubleshooting techniques to rule out equipment related problems that may contribute to changes in performance.
