Hear Always

  • Hear Always is a partnership between Cochlear Americas and clinics to provide direct technical support for external equipment, accessories and assistive listening needs.  

    For cochlear implant users who have equipment in need of repair, Hear Always will obtain the mapping information from the cochlear implant center and ship a fully programmed replacement to the patient.

    Participating Cochlear implant centers can also take advantage of our eRMA system.  The eRMA system is designed to take the burden off of the clinic in regards to programming and servicing replacement sound processors.  Simply log in to the eRMA website, input recipient information, attach the MAPS and leave the rest to Cochlear.

    For Baha users, Hear Always will provide troubleshooting assistance and create the RMA when necessary. Hear Always will also take payment for repair and service contracts directly from the recipient.

    eRMA — Sound Processor Download Program

    The purpose of the eRMA Sound Processor Download Program is to offer efficient, reliable, and expedited service to recipients who are “off the air” due to external product issues. Implementing this program will significantly reduce the amount of time a recipient is “off the air” in addition to eliminating the burden of the RMA process from participating clinics.
