Now we introduce the new Cochlear Baha 3 Power Sound Processor with the most powerful Baha transducer, providing more amplification where many patients need it the most – in the high frequencies. Baha 3 Power is designed to give patients better speech understanding and superior sound quality, compared with previous generations of processors.

The transducer is the core of the Baha sound processor. For the Baha 3 Power, Cochlear developed the world’s most powerful 675 battery-driven Baha transducer. Compared to the previous generation sound processors, the Baha 3 Power Processor with its redesigned transducer provides more high frequency gain, which is important for better speech understanding.
Full-on gain comparison, shown in the graph at left, demonstrates the superiority of the Baha 3 Power Processor compared to the Intenso.
Baha 3 Power uses the new Dynamic Output Stabilizer technology which provides a smoother and flatter frequency response curve, and provides up to 7 dB more power in the high frequencies. Dynamic Output Stabilizer technology is intended to provide better sound quality with less distortion.
The maximum output is shown at left. The peak is flattened to smooth the response and provide more high-frequency power.

Maximum Clearance - Minimal Projection
For minimal projection from the patient's head, the Baha 3 Power Sound Processor has been designed with the same height as the smaller Baha 3. All Baha 3 Sound Processors project only 12mm from the coupling for discretion. To create the most clearance between the coupling and the tissue around the abutment site, all Baha 3 sound processors are designed to snap on the inside of the abutment.
