The auditory, spoken language, academic and social-emotional journey of the child with hearing loss begins with identification and continues across the age-span. As the child moves through his/her life, the role of advocate shifts from parent to self in a manner that varies from child to child. Nonetheless, there are strategies that an individual with hearing loss must develop in order to mature into a healthy life-long learner who can contribute to and grow with society. This 2-day program will chart the course for children with hearing loss, their parents and the professionals who travel with them. It will provide each of the stakeholders with a road map for development and decision-making that outlines the direction that can lead to maximal outcomes.

The registration fee for this 2-day workshop is $95 for professionals and $75 for parents or students.
